Donna K. Britsch has been a freelance writer and photographer for over 25 years being published with a regular Sunday morning column in the Charlotte Observer, weekly column & features in the Fort Mill Times, the Lake Wylie Pilot & the Lake Wylie Magazine,, the York/Clover Enquirer Herald and some newspapers in Ohio along with being published in several magazines prior to writing for My Carolina Town. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Social Work and has started Big Brother/Big Sister Agencies along with being a Certified Personnel Consultant.  She is the proud mother of two grown sons and the joy of her life has become her young twin grand babies, Ruby & Wyatt. When not spending time with her grand babies, she enjoys reading, writing, gardening & enjoying life on the water.
